    Default Shocks

Here's Procomp ES series per their page:

    Pickup - Gladiator (J-Series) 4WD

    ________________________ES1000_______ES3000_______ _ES9000
    _______________________front/rear_____front/rear_______front/rear
    63 - 73 4WD Gladiator 0" ___121500 ______321500 _________921500
    _______________2"-3"_____124509_______324509__________924509

Are people putting stock J truck shocks on? I'm thinking about the ES1000 shocks. I didn't know if people were putting on 0" or the 2-3" shocks- gonz

Sorry, I tried to line it up better.
    Come and take it

procomp shocks don't last long. But that's ok with the m715 since you will probably never notice when they stop working.

Second that.......My 40 year old shocks may or may not work, but as stiff as the ride is, I can't tell......

I think you want the 2-3" version. Compare the shock specs (compressed and extended lengths) to the Rancho's most people use. I don't have the numbers handy and I am too lazy to search.

I just bought Napa shocks, my new suspension and ride is smooooth. I think it is mostly because of the slip plate I applied to each leaf of each leaf spring pack. I can get you part number for the Napa shocks if you wish, let me know.
