    Default 325/85r16 fitment stock wheels

I know this has been asked many times, but I haven't found any definitive answers. Before I drop 700 on a set of tires I want to know who was able to get the Michelin XML 325/85r16s to fit on a stock wheel, and how they got it to fit and what tubes they used.
    Any contributions are appreciated!

stock wheels are 6" width. These tires won't fit. They are 13" wide.

Definitive answer: No, nada, nein, no way, never...

Yep, too wide for the stock rim...that would not be good...

I once bought a set of 15.5 wide tires on stock Cherokee 5.5" wide wheels, anything is possible.

I have 38x12.5s on my stock wheels with 9.00-16 tubes. Tubes stretch nicely.

Sorry no direct experience with the 325/85s on stock wheels

Side note, where are you finding 325/85s that cheap?

Supposedly they're 12.7 wide, I was considering just buying the 11.00-16s but im looking at 1500 for a set of 4. I don't want to give out my source but it's no big secret, a place in virginia seems to have a huge source of military tires and they sell these cheap, I've been looking at them for the better part of a year. I know it's not recommended to put these tires on the skinny rims but is it a safety issue?

The 1100x16 XZL's and XML's work great on stock wheels. and look better than NDT's.
Just get 16" radial tubes and flaps. You can reuse your flaps if you still have them. Bias ply tubes won't work in radial tires.

I'm having trouble finding tubes for an 11.00r16 with the metal valve stems. Do you mind linking some? Or can I just use 11r20 tubes?
