Thread: Making M715 Bed Into Trailer?

Default Making M715 Bed Into Trailer?

I bought an incomplete M715 for parts for the Choptop (Hammer's old choptop) build and since I'm going to have a bed left over it occurs to me that it would make a nice matching trailer.

I've searched but can't find info or photos. Has anyone seen this done?

Sounds like a cool idea. Maybe someone can photochop up an example of what it might look like.

DP had a 101 trailer frame for sale, should work nice!

How funny I'm doing this to a m37 bed as well. I keep a look out for an axle and springs for ya.

    Thanks!

My first thought was to cut and use the M715 frame like the hillbillies do.

Looks like a M105A2 or A3 to me. That is the 1-1/2 ton trailer meant to go behind a M35.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.

So does that make it too large to tow behind an M715? I haven't seen the trailer in person yet.

You could tow it, but it's a heavy trailer.
