    Default fuel pump

What are the options for rebuilding the stock fuel pump? I had my fuel pump rebuilt awhile ago by a place out of Hemmings and now once again fuel is coming out the vent line. Luckily I left the hose off of the air cleaner so it did not washout the engine again.

Go to the manuals section and scroll down. There is an article about modifying a Chrysler pump to fit the 230......

If I remove the stock pump, what do I do to get my vacuum for the wipers? Just hook to prted vacuum from the intake?

That would be a problem if you are running the stock vacuum wipers. I suppose that manifold vacuum with a storage tank may work. About any late 70's early 80's US cars had the vacuum tanks under the hood. The ones that look like a coffee can.

Ported vacuum won't work. It it only present off idle. manifold vacuum is constant even at idle, although it will drop off under acceleration, hence the need for a storage tank.

The drop off in vacuum at higher rpms led to the vacuum pump on the motor...

You can get a kit to rebuild the stock fuel pump from Then-Now.com. The rubber in the new kit is compatible with the new gasoline blends (unlike NOS stuff that doesn't last long).

Do these kits include the vacuum pump side also?

I think it did, but to be sure just ask when you call them to order.
