Default chevy and the fuel lines

So what do I need to do with the return line on the sbc when I put it in?
I know it needs to return to the tank.
I can use the vent in the fill neck for this. But do I need to vent this return back to the breather or just run it back to the tank? Will I get a vapor lock problem?
I am using a cap for the stock fill tank from a dozer ,so it is a tight,no vent, cap.

MuscleCar tv had a good spot on fuel plumbing-dont know if its still up on the site. If you vent it I cant see why you would get lock-heard one of the main advantages is your pump doesnt heat up-who would have thunk.

I have TBI on my truck. The return line runs to the (vent?) cennection on the filler hose. No other connections to the tank and life is good.

As said above. Yes, you can use the stock fuel tank vent line as a return for your fuel injection.

All fuel injected vehicles come with a sealed fuel system from the factory so fuel vapor won't evaporate into the air. So, a stock sealed M715 fuel cap will work just fine.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.

The extra line on the pump isn't a return line if I remember correctly. It is a vapor line which connected to the evap system and charcoal canister.

If you have a carb, you should be able to just buy the older style fuel pump that has no return line. Less than 20 bucks and easier than routing a return line.

wrecker is correct. Mid 60's 327 pump has two lines and no return.
