All back together again. New DANA 70HD, brake lines, throw out bearing and shaft. FYI, the big DANA with dual drums is a perfect swap. New perches, ubolts and cross over ujoint if you are staying with the D200. If tach is right I'm 3100 rpms at 65 mph on 37s. Starting to gather parts for the front swap but we can go camping again.

Has been a year of a lot of progress, 2700 mi trip to South Dakota, Hot Springs and a few local camping adventures from a non running, tranny locked up rat nest. Thanks for everyone's help and advice over the transition. Spare changed out and now cleaning up the new DANA 60 to swap out soon and added fall protection for the grandson hehe.

Great build thread. Good reading over coffee. I see your Dana 60 housing has a casting for a drain plug. You should drill and tap that for a pipe plug. I do that when ever I can as it makes fluid changes so much easier and cleaner.
No pulling the cover for fresh oil. I will be following along. Again, great reading.

Never saw that, thanks great idea. It's been an enjoyable build and can't wait to get the rest of the running gear and tyranny in. Thanks for talking time to share in my insanity.
