Thread: Slow Moving Project

    Default Slow Moving Project

    Been some time since I reported progress on my restoration. When I started this, I was sure I would make the parade season but not even close! Been going slow with farm work now as well as other work here. Also, learning to do body work has required me to do some things 3 times as I learned. We found lots of filler after we media blasted so there was more welding to be done. Passenger side is now complete as well as the front. This week I'll move onto the driver side which has the most patches welded in. A few before and after pictures;

    After blasting we found LOTS of this!

    Looks like its coming right along.....

    I said the same thing when I picked up my truck..."Oh, a couple months and it will be all set" A year later and I drove it out of the shop! Nice thing though, I did it once and did it right.
