I know a lot of you have had a lot of fun pulling these three screw, when working on them. Some have replaced them. What did you replace them with. I especially liked the one mentioned with the Allen wrench head. Do you remember the length, tpi? Just looking to cut down some time at the store.

Flat head, slotted machine screw, 3/8-16 thread, 3/4 inch long.
I used the allen head machine screw instead.

I found the exact screws at the local Ace Hardware, I use some anti seize which makes it easy to remove them.
I went to stainless Allen head
I used black steel Allen-head screws from McMaster, probably the ones linked above. They work great, but I also used a dab of anti-seize on them.
I wouldn't recommend stainless screws because they're softer than the screws mentioned above, and that to me negates any advantage you might realize from the stainless material itself.
